Diane is a retired executive with experience leading global teams in the tax, accounting, legal, and publishing industries. Her unique background includes being a software developer, published author (books, magazines, newspapers, online), a leadership coach, global SaaS product director, and indie book publisher. Now she’s a digital nomad and freelance writer. Diane taps into her deep understanding of publishing, technology, organizations, leadership, and people to create content that informs and inspires readers. When she isn’t writing, Diane enjoys traveling and painting.

Too often people are divided and live in their own bubble. They join a team, and vilify any opposing teams. As time goes on, seems that civility is no longer a choice. Or is it that we have a generation (or two) that have forgotten what it means to be civil? How do you have a frank discussion with someone outside of your bubble? Not on your team? Who maybe even disagrees with you? If we are to bridge the divide, topics like this need to be written about in such a way as to inform and inspire action.

I am an explorer at heart! I routinely take unknown roads just to see where they go and often find hidden gems and shortcuts. Learning is an adventure for me, and travel allows me to get in touch with nature, learn about different people and cultures. Over the past five years, I've explored the USA and Canada in our campervan and love sharing the adventures with readers.

My passion for creating cultures of success at home, at work, and in community groups led me to become a certified Leadership Coach a decade ago. Although I enjoy coaching, I find my articles can reach a broader audience, and in that way, I hope to not just educate, but inspire others to lead well.
